Austria: Wildcards Revealed

austriaAustria –  National broadcaster ORF has revealed the 37 wildcards in the running for a place in the Austrian national final. The national final, Wer Singt Für Österreich?, will be held on 12 February, where 10 songs will battle for a ticket to Stockholm.  Nine songs have yet to be revealed, but the 10th spot is held for the winner of the wildcard competition. A total of 37 entries were submitted, and people will be able to vote for their favourite online in January. The songs are as follows:

  4. Celina Ann – Life is on your side
  5. Christine Strasser – I saw the light
  6. Conny Conrad – We are we.ll be

  10. David Siedl feat. Madelene & MC Vio – Wah wah whine
  11. E.Y.E. – Kiss
  12. EARased – Better now
  13. Esteban’s – Portrait

  15. Jake Rathburn – No Other Love
  16. Kevin Etheridge – Palmtrees on your mind

  2. so this is like, an Internet wildcard to fill the last spot of a NF? so, if it follows the german trend, that one could very easily win the NF no? ;)

  3. Some of these songs are pretty good, but some of them are disasters.

    So pretty much like every line up in existence. Except the Belarussian ones. Because those are always disasters.
