  1. Moldova and their usual epic saga of eurovision preselection :P
    Good luck!

    Moldova in my books:
    thumbs up: 2005, 2009, 2011, 2012, 2013.
    thumbs down: 2006, 2015.

  2. I don’t think that I have the strength to check them all …

  3. I will most certainly be following this one, internet permitting. :) I am especially curious to hear what Cristina Pintilie & Alex Calancea Band have come up with. I like their work; I chose ‘Inima’ (featuring Tania Cerga) to represent Moldova in FdLC 5 – lovely song. Good luck, Moldova!

    P.S. I – here’s the link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g2s6oEgewow

P.S. II – ‘Viorele’ is the best title of season so far! I just love the word regardless of its meaning. LOL

  4. I gave Cristina Pintilie & Alex Calancea Band a try; not bad at all, but her English lets her down. I also gave ‘Viorele’ a try – how will it sound live, I wonder? There are ineresting aspects in it, such as the orchestration, that could be developed and become quite appealing, I think.

  5. Katherine and Litesound’s ‘Imagine’ will probably go far, if they get it right live. The lyrics aren’t especially good, but hey ho ( as someone used to say a few years ago).

‘Victoria’ – Improvizaţii Nocturne – I really like this one. It’s brave of them to present this song. How will it sound live? We’ll find out eventually. And that is all for now.

P.S. – here Improvizaţii Nocturne are with another song: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vnJpj7GJ_0M

  6. Oh gosh this Doinita girl is back ugh..I may listen to them at some point.

    Good luck !

  7. Im probably alone but I’ve never cared about Moldova (in esc).

  8. Oh shit! Sasha Bognibov is back, the guy who got disqualified in 2008 for his song about loving 13 year old girls…

  9. Eesti Laul entry #10-Würffel – I’m Facing North:

  10. Well, if they have only received 40 entries all in all…

Maybe I should submit my songs in Moldova next year.

  11. A documentary on Winny Puhh titled “The weirdest band in the world” :

  12. 2 of the entries submitted to BBC for esc have been revealed by a local newspaper:

  13. Ella with her accordion is one of the Rising Star contestants in Israel that really stand out.I like her! https://twitter.com/esctoday/status/674514186475442176

  14. Eesti Laul song#12 Gertu Pabbo-Miljon Korda

  15. Sergey Lazarev to represent Russia in Stockholm!

  16. Elle with ‘Tare’ will probably be fighting for the win, if they get right live. I am not sure what to say about the song. It’s intriguing.

Doinita plays it safe in 2016. She may fare well, but the song is a bit dull.

Big Flash Sound – Când vrei: this is the best I heard so far and and is up there with ‘Seis’ from Estonia.

  17. Andrei Ioniţa & Onoffrei – Lie: I like this one as well, it manages to mix the two styles quite well. The live will be pivotal as usual.
