Previous Artists Reveal New Material and News


Il Volo Gaga smallFormer Participants – There’s been lots of activity in the last week or so from recent former Eurovision participants. We take a look at the round-up of their new releases, projects and live appearances… starting with Il Volo hanging out with Lady Gaga no less. 

On October 10, 2015 at the Waldorf Astoria Grand Ballroom in New York took place the 71st Annual Columbus Celebration Gala of the Columbus Citizens Foundation as part of the celebrations of the Columbus Day. Il Volo (Italy 2015) performed, as did Lady Gaga with Tony Bennett… resulting in excited tweets.

Ruth Lorenzo (Spain 2014) has released a new song called ‘99‘. Check out the video:

Loïc Nottet (Belgium 2015) has released a new video of Rhythm Inside. It was recently rumoured in the Belgian press that Loïc will get paid just 23,000 for his Dance with the Stars performances whilst footballer Djibril Cissé collects €259,000! We’ll be sure to watch Loïc’s dancing with interest! It starts next week.

Václav Noid Bárta, who represented The Czech Republic last year alongside Marta Jandova, has a new album released last week. The new album, Jedinej krok, will feature his Eurovision Song Contest entry ‘Hope never dies’.

Marco Mengoni (Italy 2013) Marco has new single out, ‘Ti ho voluto bene fermenta‘, and will tour Italy in March 2016. On October 24th in Piazza del Duomo in Milan, the singer will star in a part of the free concert with Duran Duran and Ellie Goulding. On October 25 at the Forum of Assago he will perform on the MTV World Stage Ema Awards 2015, and will be awarded Best Italian Act.

Meanwhile in Macedonia, Kaliopi (2012) has released her new single ‘Jutro‘… amidst rumours that she may get to represent her country again in Stockholm!
