ETSC: A Few Polls

ETSC August 2015ETSC – After three editions, including one this Summer already, we want to see if changes should be made to our beloved contest. After discussing some by emails or in the comment section, we’ve decided to open polls to see where the ET community is standing at.

Each summer, a good number of regular readers stay around for different reasons (they don’t get breaks from work or don’t go on holidays…) but there aren’t much news to keep us going. So the last few years we introduced all sort of games. The Eurovision Times Awards (Fridas) and the Douze Points Trivia Quiz kept us going in 2013 and Fridas have made come-backs the past two years. Last year, a lot of you asked for a fake Eurovision where each one of us would send songs and get to vote. And that was it: the Eurovision Times Song Contest, from then on known as ETSC.

In the meantime, you can discover our new page dedicated to the contest, with its history, all songs participating and the rankings here. You can also find it by clicking on the “Specials” section of the site, in the top menu in the red box, just under the site’s name.

Now, don’t forget, the country selection will open on the 31st at midnight CET only by email this time to be less confusing. The article about picking your country will be made then and only then. However, people can pick their songs for an entire week so we still have time to vote in these polls:

I have excluded the ideas of semifinals and NF are still “possible” if anyone wants one but that would exclude possibly other songs and artists for later edition… and I didn’t know how to make a poll for suggestions on how to improve the contest in general, especially the voting, but it seems no one complained really about it. So anyway, don’t hesitate to give us any feedback in the comments below!
