LATVIA
“Love Injected” was performed by Aminata Savadogo. Representing Latvia in the Eurovision Song Contest 2015, it was written and composed by Aminata herself. It finished 6th with 186 points. Nominated eight times overall in ET Awards 2015, “Best Female vocals” is its first so far! Congratulations!
You can click here to look at the full recommendations and nominations from last week’s article! There were 50 recommendations for 9 countries in the first round and 174 votes were cashed in an open poll, in exactly one week, among the 5 nominees. The complete detailed results will be announced once all polls are closed so in another week!
Now let’s watch the winning entry once more, for Aminata’s vocals:
Congratulations to Aminata!
Fair and square!
Fair enough. She’s bot a really cool artist and an impressive singer. The female category was harder than the male category imo, but Ainata is a worthy winner. Congrats!
Good. Any other result would have been a scandal.
Congratulations! :)
I still think that the dress she wore in the final of Supernova was ideal for ESC as well, but everything else was perfect.
P.S. – Good night, everyone. :)
Boa noite!
The best won! Hurrah! with two nods in composition and lyrics, will it get the clean sweep Netherlands got last year?
Deserved … but I think that Lisa was a tad better.
Well deserved of course. Congrats Aminata !
Was unsure how ET would go on this one, would they go for their love all things traditionally French (Twin Twin isnt traditional) or would they go for their yearly “we love the odd bizarre woman” it could have gone either way in my opinion.
Can you tell us who came 2nd, guessing it was Frenchy right?
read the freakin’ article for once, or look how it happened last year.. 174 votes surpass the common “ET regulars” though…
You can’t argue that the “odd bizarre woman” screamed her way to the top though :P
No thankfully, we didn’t get a repeat of that. :D
I’ll take 10 Aminata’s over Rona the Ropehead any day :D
“odd bizarre woman”
Ageist and full of hate, as always. :(
I’m done and won’t return until you learn manners.
He did say odd though NOT old!
Thank you Donnie for being reasonable and not following along with Toggies hysteria.
I was accused of being anti Muslim by him for saying Azerbaijan cheats, me, the king of shake it and founder of the Bring Back Turkey Campaign!!!
I think he means Aminata.
It’s not the subject I mind but the foul language.
He’s giving ET a bad reputation. :(
Oh where do you come up with these, its like a big book of New Labour cliches.
Ageist??? I didnt mention her age once besides she’s 22 only 1 year older than me!!!??? Are you crazy or are you just making this rubbish up now, “oh how can we say Max is bad today”
Whatever hun, I gave up caring about your personal opinion of me the 100th time you were offended or upset by something. You just make stuff up and its boring now.
Awesome! Aminata sold me on her song live, and it was just fantastic in the hall. Obviously earned my vote, but this was a solid category.
I think I voted for Lisa (so darn many of these awards it’s hard to keep up) but am happy for Aminata. Well done Latvia.
Elina&Stig will be giving a concert tonight at 22:35 CET.It will be broadcasted live. The link is here: otse.err.ee
Oops!I meant 20:35 CET. :P
Kind of figured Aminata would take this one, based on the comments on the poll post! 110% deserved. Girl is a pocket rocket. Can’t wait to hear more from her.
I guess, apart from time constraints, one of my main reasons for not coming here as often as I did is about comments above (that could be ignored I guess) besides , in the scheme of things, there are a lot more important things ,as a journalist, that I consider important to comment on, so here I don’t bother about reacting to such comments, I just wanted to add that here in Spain, tables turned about ESC (like Fernando Alonso in formula 1) out with the old and in with the new! top of the list will be Dover, singing in English, great live and with a raunchy singer and with plenty of hits like the following under their belt
Good! At least one of the vocal awards went to the right person! Congratulations Latvia! <3
Yes! Congratulations, Aminata!
I expected Serbia to win this, but nevertheless congratulations Latvia!
