  1. Nothing to upset the current trend!

    6.Australia-91
    7.Israel-75
    8.Spain-59
    9.Azerbaijan-41
    10.Belgium-37

  2. Voi voi!

A clean sweep here for Italy. And only 6 points from Iceland to Sweden.

    • Indeed, the Icelandic vote surprised me as well. I truly thought that Sweden would win this (the OGAE poll) by a huge margin. It has the perfect formula as far as the OGAEs are concerned (so I presumed).

  3. 1 pt for Macedonia. :)

  4. 0 from Greece to Cyprus lol, there will be strong words exchanged at the next OGAE AGM!!!

Completely baffled at how well Italy is doing. I mean Slovenia (neighbour) and Greece (South European/Meditteranean/bad with money) we could kinda guess. But Iceland and Ireland supporting Italy over Sweden that is a shock!!!

  5. I only wanted to reiterate here, being half British, and reading the comments about “why UK is the perfect country in the world”, and why it isn`t (it isn’t), will see come next Thursday why not and indeed why I guess UK ESC song will represent UK fractured voting too..

    • No one ever said it was perfect.

And you sound like Putin if you think a place in the eurovision song contest is somehow indicative of a countries status. Don’t get what you mean about fractured voting? Are you talking about juries over riding televotes?

  6. COME ON ITALY!!!! You can do it. Beat that generic tripe!!!!

    • A lot of people felt the following was Italian generic tripe too, sung by German speakers, for Switzerland with German Italian accents , although it remains today even Terry Wogan’s favourite song in ESC and a favourite in UK today (even worthier than the UK winner), thus inverse, come on everyone beat that generic Italian shite :-) in 2015

  7. I have already made a bet on Italy’s win! ;)

  8. I meant even for your younger participants here, Switzerland 1981, is considered a classic ESC song both in UK (even outside ESC circles) and especially in Spain, and our favourite Terry Wogan’s and also our Spanish commentator’s José Luis Urribarri’s favourite ESC song of all time :-)

  9. Wow. Only six points from Iceland to Sweden. Interesting.

And no less than four times 12 to Italy. I am really surprised that such a song can be so popular. Not a bad song, but still, “the three tenors” was a phenomenon in the early 90’s.

  10. A shame Cyprus, Denmark, Hungary, Latvia and Austria haven’t got a single point yet :-(

    • Oh, and Ireland too…

Had it been a singer/songwriter festival, it would have got a lot more points.

  11. They love Cyprus on Eurosong.dk btw. They think it can reach very far: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wgfvppzeUp8

    8 points – Estonia
    10 points – Slovenia
    12 points – Sweden

  13. OGAE MALTA
    1 point – Australia
    2 points – the Netherlands
    3 points – Spain
    4 points – Israel
    5 points – Russia
    6 points – Slovenia
    7 points – Azerbaijan
    8 points – Norway
    10 points – Sweden
    12 points – Italy
