  1. Predictable and NOT deserved :P

  2. Expected.

  3. Yes,it’s common sense.

  4. Two of the likely top 5 (dare I say top 3) contenders. I still think Australia will top Sweden on the scoreboard, wherever it may be.

  5. An expected and good result. “Heroes” is almost perfect from a technical point of view. Heard as art: less interesting, but again: damn catchy. 8/12.

  6. Both are perfect pop songs, in my opinion. Both well structured, dynamic, good build-ups to knockout choruses and with enough variation throughout to maintain interest.

Tonight Again in particular feels quite modular, like each section has been out-sourced to different writers and then bolted together!

Both songs have deceptively downbeat intros, belying the oncoming groove.

Both songs are arguably somewhat flimsy in the lyrics department, but I guess you have to keep the lyrics quite generic and universal to appeal to a broad audience across several languages.

  7. I forgot to mention that Sweden are slightly higher than Australia in my top 10, so I’m happy with this result!

  8. Pity but some people did vote politically don’t forget.

  9. I knew Mans would win but I’m happy to see Australia has some fans…the difference is not so big😊
