  1. Georgia has been growing on me and I can now kinda enjoy it but Norway 2015 is another level ! ;)

  2. Norway probably has the best song this year but if we talk package, Mørland & Debrah are in 4th place on my list. This might change in May though.

  3. That was to be expected.I like both of the songs.I believe Mørland & Debrah need to make their performance more slick. There’s something missing there and Debrah is the weak link for now.

  4. Two very solid songs worthy of the top 10 this year, and for what we know so far, I slightly prefer Georgia, Nina has what it takes to perform it, whereas Debrah has zero stage charisma (and the visuals in MGP were all wrong and annoyed me). But both songs could swap their places for me by Vienna.

  5. Good result. I like Goergia but Norway is in a different class. It is also a grower.

  6. Norway love!

  7. In case Norway becomes #1 on my 2015 list (still cannot decide between them and Slovenia), it will be the first time a country tops my list for two years in a row since 1998, 1999 (Croatia). Although “Neka Mi Ne Svane” is seeing some competition from “Where Are You” lately.

    • I had Serbia in first place in 2007 and 2008. :)

      • Serbia 2007: 12/12 #3
        Serbia 2008: 12/12 #1
        :)

      • So, that was pretty close for me too ;)

      • Me too. And I also have France in top in 2001 and 2002.

        • Oops, I forgot that I had the Dutch entries in 1st place in 2013 and 2014. Short term memory problems? Am I getting old? LOL
I have France 2002 and 2003 in first place. In 2001 Russia beat France on my list. Then I have France again in 1990 and 1991. The record is still held by the Netherlands though. I have the Dutch songs in 1st place for 1957, 1958 and 1959. However, none of those 3 songs has a 12/12 on my list.

          • I have France from 1990-1992. And I also had Germany 1970-1972 before “Tijd” in 1971 and “Falter im Wind” 1972 stole the first place. Messy statistics, lol.

            • I love France 1992 too but nothing can beat Mia Martini on my list. :) Germany 1970-1972 are good songs but not in my top 5.

    • Hey, are you following the Finnish election? ;)

It has also some Eurovision connections if you will, since 2007 ESC host Jaana Pelkonen is running for National Coalition Party.

    • since everyone is comparing their victories in a row:
Switzerland 58 and 59, but like Toggie, none is a “masterpiece”
France 68 and 69 (though France 67 is amazing too, not better than Sweden)
Austria 71 and 72 (and then Austria withdrew til 76…)
France 90 ad 91 (Mia Martini wins for 92 for me)
…and that’s it from me :o Serbia is not top 5 for me in 2007 since I genuinely didn’t really like “Moltiva” as a song and only Marija made it jump in my 2007 list, so Serbia 2008 is surrounded by Georgia 2007 and France 2009, Netherlands is not my winner in either 2013 nor 2014

    • France 1968 and 1969 (Norway and Belgium are strong contenders in 1968)
      France 1990 and 1991
Serbia 2007 and 2008 (alternatively Portugal in 2008)
      Germany 2010 and 2011
      Netherlands 2013 and 2014

      • And it would have been France x3 if it hadn’t been for “Boum badaboum”.

      • Wow, we agree a lot. :) France 1968 is my second place (my favourite ESC entry ever first – Belgium) and Portugal 2008 is very close to 1st place too, as is Turkey. I really like Germany 2010 too (5th place in a strong year. I have Turkey in 1st place). In 2011, Lena is my winner.

  8. Over rated Norway is over rated again :/ sigh
