Former Participants – Congratulations to Estonia’s Birgit Õigemeel and her husbnd Indrek Sarrap on the birth of their baby boy. Birgit announced her pregnancy during Eurovision 2013, when she represented her country with ‘Et uus saaks alguse‘.
Birgit posted on her facebook page:
“My dearest friends and fans! I’ll take a little break from singing and I’ll be back for you in December. This year was really exciting and eventful and I want to thank you all for sharing this special time with me! See you soon

Birgit qualified from the second semi-final in 10th place, and finished 20th in the final in Malmö, with 19 points.

And underrated, and a lot of it has to do with the fact that she is so quiet and understated. Angels do not make a lot of noise after all.
