  1. Alexia, backing vocalist for Cyprus 81 and then singer for Cyprus 87, comes to my mind…

  2. We’ll have another to add this year, Leanne Moore who has been b.vox for Jedward for the past two years is back with Ryan Dolan and Ireland this year.

  3. Evridiki!Bcking vocalist for Cyprus 83 at the age of 15.

  4. Evelin Samuel was a backing singer for Estonia in 1997.

Elina Konstantopoulou (what a name) was a backing singer for Cyprus in 2005. ♫♪♫ Ela ela ♫♪♫

Debbie Cameron stood behind Tommy Seebach in 1979 before they both represented Denmark together in 1981.

    • And Anita Skorgan, who has represented Norway three times (1977, 1979, 1982), has also been a backing singer twice (1981, 1983). She sang behind her ex-husband Jahn Teigen in 1983 but also in Norsk Melodi Grand Prix 1990. I think that must also have been one of the few times where Carola served as a backing singer too.

  5. Karmen Stavec represented Slovenia in 2003.
Before that, she was a backing vocalist for Slovenia in Birmigham, in 1998.

  6. Redhead Pétur Örn Guðmundsson was a backing singer for Iceland in ESC 2000, 2006, 2008 & 2010. :)

  7. Nikki Kavanagh sang back up for Niamh in 2010 before trying and failing to represent Ireland on her own accord plus she sung back up for Zoe in Eurosong 13.

Twiins from Slovakia 2011 did back up for the girl from the C Republic in 2008 I think it was.
