Slovenia – Tonight the final of the casting show Misija Evrovizija was held in Slovenia. The show determined 2 acts that will compete in the national final for the Eurovision Song Contest, EMA. Fours singers competed for the two places in the final: The twins Eva & Nika Prusnik, Eva Boto and Nika Zorjan. Boto qualified directly to the final, while the Pusnik twins and Zorjan had to compete in a show down. In the end the twins prevailed.
Each act had to sing one Eurovision song and a ballad. Eva Boto performed “Because of you” by Kelly Clarkson and “Running Scared” by Ell&Niki. The twins performed “Wild Dances” by Ruslana and “Samo malo” by Magnifico. The unlucky Nika Zorjan tried her luck with “Ne Partez Pas Sans Moi” by Céline Dion and “Listen” by Beyoncé.

EMA will be held on February 26 and will see the two qualifiers sing original songs. One of them will represent Slovenia in Baku!
According to the official Eurovision website, Nika & Eva Prusnik are 16 year old sisters from Skofljica. Nika’s favourite Eurovision song is Ruslana’s “Wild Dances” for Ukraine 2004 and Eva’s is Tajci’s 1990 Yugoslav entry “Hajde Da Ludujemo“.
Eva Boto is also 16 and hails from Šentjanž in Dravograd. She admits to having joint favourite songs in Europe’s Favourite TV Show, and is patriotic, choosing Darja Svajger’s “Prislunhi Mi” from Slovenia 1995 and Maja Keuc’s Slovene entry “No One” from 2011.
