Bulgaria: Poli Genova and Miro as Casting Show Jury Members

Bulgaria – Bulgaria’s two most recent Eurovision contestants Poli Genova (“Na Inat“) and Miro (“Angel Si Ti“) have become jury panel members of two popular Bulgarian casting shows. Miro is one of four judges on “Glasat Na Bulgaria“, the Bulgarian version of the international franchise “The Voice of....”. Miro is the representative of pop on the show, while the other judges represent pop/rock, Bulgarian chalga and Bulgarian rock. Miro has been the favourite of female contestants and thus has an almost exclusively female team.

Here you can see a rendition of Céline Dion’s “I Surrender” and the contestant (inevitably) choosing Miro:

Poli Genova on the other hand is a judge on another internationally successful casting show format. She assesses candidates on the Bulgarian version of X-Factor. Last night she performed her Eurovision entry “Na Inat” with her group of contestants:

As in most of the international versions, the Bulgarian X-Factor has produced a number of funny appereances. The best one you can see here (go to 2:30!)
