  1. I listened few of them and i like a lot Baklava and Glen Vella for now..

Link of youtube official channel with songs

  2. Malta has put together a better group of songs this year. After having heard all the songs once and before the live performances, these are the acts that made some kind of positive impression in random order:

    ‘Catch 22’ by Amber
    ‘Everybody sing’ by Wayne Micaleff
    ‘Hypnotized’ by Eleanor Cassar
‘If I could do it all again’ by Raquela
‘Movie in my mind’ by Claudia Faniello
‘Over and over’ by Kurt Calleja
    ‘Topsy-turvy’ by Janvil
‘This love’ by Klinsmann & Ben
    ‘Unfaithful’ by Anna Azzopardi
    ‘Unintentional’ by Petra
‘You’ll never know’ by Rosman Pace

    Good luck, Malta. :)

  3. What a nice surprise. This is a decent line-up for the Maltese preselection. Ally’s ‘Numb’ is my favourite after listening to the songs only once, but I liked Amber’s, Wayne’s, Raquela’s and Klinsmann & Ben’s songs too.

  4. terrible performances and songs, most of the times the vocals were good though

Amber, Raquela and Klinsmann/Ben should easily top this

  5. thanks Xello.. youtube works much better for me than their messy webpage.. lets see what is hidden here!

  6. songwise it’s ok, but the performances are terrible and the songs are often dated.. better than Iceland, very probable, than Norway ? Maybe, but i can’t help remembering what the three last maltese NF and their awful stagings, performances, vocals, etc. so i really can’t think of any of them being that great… plus let’s not forget that the bad ones in Norway are not shameful craps like in Malta (Sophie, Anvil and Anna Azzopardi are just hateful for instance) and that the better songs in Malta do not outbeat Helene and Aste/Rikke to me

    • Please don’t remind me of the visual aspects of the last two Maltese NFs. Stage, lighting, clothes … everything looked so cheap, random, cheesy and silly. (Considering all those different aajectives it was quite an achievment, I guess …) And when I remember what most Maltese hopefuls wore for their preview clips, I fear for the worst once more! The only one with a good fashion sense was (once again) Wayne …

  7. Raquela’s voice reminds me so much of Georgia 2010.. nice voice, but not a song I would love..
I dont know why but I have a feeling that Fabrizio Faniello will do very well, maybe he will even win..
Klinnsman and Ben are one of the best bid they have so far, I will continue on listen, some of them may be grower after some time

  8. Baklavas Moon Dance is not bad song either (especially the part with violin sonds good to me) I wished I had some sweet baklava now, yummy :D

  9. I have no idea who could win this year… Most of songs are good… Hope that Malta will make it to the final… Good luck…

    • Neither have I. The songs are better than last year, that much I know. I gave them a second try and sort of arrived to the conclusion that ‘Catch 22’, ‘Everybody sing’, ‘If I could do it all again’, ‘Movie in my mind’ and ‘This love’ are the best hopefuls before the live performances.
