But even the staging was a bit disappointing… I don’t know… I think they could’ve done better… they should’ve asked the video director to direct the staging maybe?
This was my number 3 in this years competition, still deserved a higher place even though vocally she wasnt great. Look at Turkey, awful vocals and still managed a good place, still I guess they have more friends than France!

Turkey 2012 is miles ahead of France 2012 on both my studio version and live performance lists.

The fact that both France and Turkey 2012 were completely ignored by one part of the voting clubs ( televoting and juries respectively ) says it all about their appeal…

Imo both France and Turkey have lost their way in esc recently.The last French entry I loved was 2009.And the last Turkish act in my personal top 10 was 2010 ( What a great show ! ).
Regarding 2012 : France scores a 3/12 ( my #39 ) and Turkey a 5/12 ( my #31 unfortunately
2009 and 2010 don’t count as “losing their way” in my book, because if countries with great entries in 2009 and 2010 have lost their ways, then what can we say about Croatia or Netherlands, who havent sent a great song since like forever?
Croatia sent a great song in 2009 (and a good one this year) and the Netherlands in 2010.
yeah Netherlands is like my second to last in 2010 right above Croatia… and though it’s not like the worst ever, it’s a song I purely hate with a passion… such bubbly crap should be forbidden by a Geneva convention
I have Netherlands 2010 in 37th place, above the UK and Belarus, which is dead last on my list.

Hehe, I like both Netherlands and Croatia 2010.
“Lako je sve” would have been even better though if they had kept the simple piano play in the beginning throughout the whole song. I liked France 2012 too, but those muscle boys on stage weren’t my cup of tea…
And yeah, one more thing. I have never understood why everyone loves Turkey 2010. What a plain song and that performance looks like it has been made by a boy in his pre-teen, having done too much RPG on his computer. The robot cutting its own “arm” and the singer standing there with out-stretched arms as if he was watching some kind of robotic ritual…

Murray might win against Djokovic (he is at the moment), then I think Novak should get Bronze, and Federer has shown he can beat Murray in the Finals at Wimbeldon, so, Switzerland Gold, GBR Silver, Serbia Bronze
But I’m also angry because Eurosport didn’t cover weightlifting because of tennis! I LUV weightlifting! Podobedova from Kazakhstan broke world record! YAY!! I LUV Kazakhstan!

I hated this song from the begining !!!
I am finally staying at a place with a good internet connection which has allowed me to watch James in action so to speak. Well the video is mainly about men in underwear and nothing more than ‘Express yourself’ part II. James is entertaining and funny and and he did make me hear France 12 again; it’s quite an annoying song, because it never seems to go anywhere as it tries to be too many things at the same time.
i still cant believe that she chose this average song to esc, and the official video pure contains pornography action , why there is gay kissing , a pig etc which make us confusing.
She should chose a beautiful folk – ballad like mon meilleur amour, je partirai or chaque jour sans fievre. I hope she’ll learn her failure in eurovision.
