Stockholm Pride Welcomes Eurovision Stars

Eurovision fans in Sweden can catch up with previous stars of Eurovision 2011 and 2012 this week as several of them, including Loreen and Eric Saade, are appearing at this year’s Stockholm Pride. A ‘Schlagerpopnight’ concert has been arranged with appearances from Jedward, Ivi Adamou, Eleftheria Eleftheriou and Ott Lepland.

Eric Saade is making Stockholm Pride his only gig this summer on the Park stage at Pride Park, Tantolunden in Stockholm, on Friday 3 August.

Loreen is in the midst of a tour around Europe and will be at Stockholm Pride on Thursday August 2, performing the winning song Eurovision Song Contest 2012, “Euphoria” along with Moa Lignell, from Swedish Idol 2011.

Advertised as a ‘A shameful mix of happy hits of Eurovision and pop’, the ’Schlagerpopnight’ concert will have performances from this year’s Eurovision stars:

Jedward (Ireland 2011, 2012)
Ivi Adamou (Cyprus 2012)
Eleftheria Eleftheriou (Greece 2012)
Ott Lepland (Estonia 2012)

Also appearing at the event will be Sean Banan, Amy Diamond, Linda Sundblad, Da Buzz, Star Pilots, Sonja Aldén, Mimi Oh, Maria Benhajji, Anniela, Stockholm Syndrome (Love Generation), Eddie Razaz, Smith & Tell, Eric Amarillo, Andreas Lundstedt, Youngblood, Sebastian Karlsson, THE FACE, Jessica Folcker with Håkan Lidbo and more.

The concert takes place tomorrow night, Thursday 2 Aug 19:00–23:00(CET) at Pride Park (The Park Stage), Tantolunden, Södermalm, T-Zinkensdamm. There is no age limit.

Irish duo, Jedward, will also be carrying out a signing session of their latest album, Young Love, in Stockholm today, Wednesday 1st August, at Jakobsbergs Centrum at 17.00 (CET)
