Glad to see so much support for Slovenia 2005
It’s very hard to pick 5 songs but if I had to pick one country, it would be Switzerland. I love every single entry they sent from 2007 to 2012, except the 2011 one (the only one that qualified ¬¬)
Haha, that’ so true:D
I too liked most of the Belorussian Entries, except of 2010, which made it to the Final, too:D
1. Estonia 10
2. Monaco 05
3. Belgium 11
4. Slovakia 09
5. Estonia 04
yay for Estonia 2010!
x2!
Generally, I agree with most non-qualifications, but there are obviously some exceptions.
1: San Marino 2008
2: Ireland 2009
3: Finland 2012
4: Lithuania 2010
5: Switzerland 2012
Other songs that I really like: Iceland 2006, Andorra 2007, Bulgaria 2008, Switzerland 2009, Slovenia 2009, The Netherlands 2009, The Netherlands 2010, Norway 2011, Malta 2011, San Marino 2011, The Netherlands 2011, Cyprus 2011, Latvia 2011, Israel 2012, The Netherlands 2012 (my winner!), Bulgaria 2012, Croatia 2012 and Slovakia 2012.
My apologies for voting twice, but I forgot what year it was and named Switzerland 2011 instead of 2012, whoops
These are my favourites:
1: Finland 2012
2: Israel 2012
3: Portugal 2012
4: Slovenia 2009
5: Belgium 2011
If I could vote for ten songs, Czech Repubic 2009 (yes, Czech Republic 2009) would probably be on the list as well. I know it got nul points, and that it is one of the most hated ESC-songs, but somehow I like it. Of course it’s no masterpiece, but the melody is not bad. I have actually caught myself humming it a couple of times.
Romania 1996 and Macedonia 1996 should have made the final of 96
FYR Macedonia 2008
San Marino 2008
Poland 2006
Albania 2006
Finland 2010
Those would be my top 5. But there are a few others too; Iceland 07, Monaco 05, Austria 05, Germany 96, Cyprus (06, 07, 08, 09), Belarus 04, Netherlands 12 and Switzerland 12. Looking back through the years with the semi-finals, there was only one contest where I was relatively content with the songs that had stayed behind (2011). But in every other year there’s been at least one song that I felt should have made it.
Andorra 2007
Austria 2005
Netherlands 2007
Sweden 2010
Norway 2011
Hmm. Not as easy as one would think so here goes
1 Sweden 2010
2 Ireland 2009
3 Slovenia 2005
4 Portugal 2012
5 Andorra 2006

* Only semi-final-non-qualifiers since 2004 counted as I do not remember the 1993 and 1996 songs that well and at the moment I am not really fancy going through them again to give them a fair placing. However, I can assure that none would of made it to my Top5.
Er, you do realize Croatia actually qualified in 2009 (via Jury Wildcard)?
ohhh I have many… Sweden 2010, Cyprus 2011, Slovakia 2010, Bulgaria 2011 +2012.. I just remember these now but I have too many to make a list I guess
Okay, this was a difficult one but I could handle five out of them:
1. Andorra 2005 Marian van de Wal
2. Norway 2011 Stella Mwangi
3. Netherlands 2012 Joan Franka
4. Belgium 2008 Ishtar
5. Austria 2005 Global.Kryner
Monaco 2005′s entry Lise Darly was close as well, just like Andorra 2007′s Anonymous and Bulgaria’s 2011 Polly Genova…
oh and Sweden 2010 Anna Bergendahl of course… I forgot about her, she would have been on fifth place of my list, I guess…
ΟΚ, i will post here my list from each year and then I will try to shorten it so to become applicable to the poll.
2004: Israel.
2005: The Netherlands, Iceland and Slovenia.
2006: Belgium
2007: Cyprus, Iceland and Andorra
2008: Moldova, Belgium, (The Netherlands) and (Switzerland).

Just-missing-out: The Netherlands (2012), Norway (2011) and Slovakia (2010).
8 unique songs that left out in expense of some ordinary and poorly permformed entries.
After several hours of making tricky decisions, here my top 5 (and voted by the way).
1. Slovenia 2006
2. Malta 2008
3. Slovenia 2012
4. Croatia 2012
5. Poland 2009
There are so many beautiful and powerful songs in the past that didn’t qualify for the finals, but that should’ve done.

2006: Andorra, Belgium, Cyprus, Estonia, Poland, Portugal and Slovenia
