Watch The Official Music Video for Euphoria

Posted: July 5, 2012 by eurovisiontimes in Sweden

Sweden – The official video of the winning song of the 2012 Eurovision Song Contest, Euphoria, was released today. The video shows Loreen dancing in a corn field and a forest. However, it does not feature the dance moves from her Eurovision performance. You can watch the video on the website of Swedish tabloid Expressen. Despite not having a proper music video (the performance from the Swedish final was used as such, Euphoria has become a summer hit in many European countries, topping the charts, amongst others, in Germany, Spain and Austria.

Gorgeous! I was expecting something very showy, but this was quite sublime.

I think the idea behind was good (not another lame club video) but the rest is not exactly well eloborated. We just gaze at a cornfield and in some parts at Loreen doing her dance. Since it took so much time one could have expected something fancier imho – for a no. 1 hit in many countries it will be too boring. Remains to be seen if MTV will use it or instead still will play the old NF performance.

I’m gonna honest. I didn’t like the video. Terrible director and camera work.

I barely saw Loreen’s face singing to the song. She just moves around in the fog and in the grass.
The live performance is SO much better! They could’ve incorporated the concept of her Eurovision performance to the video instead!

    That’s just my opinion.
