Céline Dion Releases New French Song “Parler à mon père”

Posted: July 2, 2012 by eurovisiontimes in Canada

Canada – The winner of the 1988 Eurovision Song Contest (for Switzerland), Céline Dion has released a new French single today. The song can be purchased on itunes. It is called “Parler à mon père” (“Speak to my father”) which speaks of all the things Céline wants to do. However, before doing all of it, she wants to “speak to her father”. Céline’s father Adhemar Dion died several years ago. The song is unusual for Dion. Instead of the usual power ballad it is a calm, easy-listening and radio friendly song. It will be part of the new French album “Sans attendre”, which will be released November 5.

You can listen to the full version of the song on Céline’s official website.

The song is rather generic but not bad. Considering that I have never been a Céline Dion fan, this is one of her better songs imo.
