Gossip – Eric Saade, Swedish representative at the Eurovision Song Contest 2011, continues to pursue his musical career. He just released a new single with Norwegian singer Tone Damli, who came second in the Norwegian national final in 2009. The two also recorded a video in Ibiza including every cliché of a summer video. The song is a contemporary radio song, but maybe a bit too bland. However, there is a reason to still watch the video!

Together with football, athletics are my favourite sport. And since I was a sprinter for a very long time too, I am interested in track events most.
I agree on football and athletics (I would add water polo too). My most fav event in track and field is javelin. I loved it since I first watched those epic competition between Sofia Sakorafa and Tina Lilak back in the early 80′s

Water polo is very marginal here in Germany and I have never watched a complete match in my life, only snippets every 4 years during the Olympic Games. My n° 3 in sports is biathlon, which is pretty marginal in Greece, I guess …

Eric is a talented pop artist and I like this cooperation with Tone. There is nothing wrong for someone caring about his body as well of course but unfortunately in the way the society is formed there is discrimination against good looking people as well..

Hope you guys are both well. Am enjoying the athletics too but am more looking forward to the Olympics. I love to watch most of the sports. I hope to be in London for the second week although am heading there next week for World Pride which looks like it’s going to be pretty poor! Organisation seems to be terrible from what I’m hearing. Loving Wimbledon at the moment too. Just watched Britain’s James Ward lose a thriller.
Footie tonight. I think Germany will win but secretly am hoping for Italy only because I drew them in a sweep stake and stand to win some decent dosh if they do although I still win since they made the semis so won’t be disappointed should Germany make it which I think they will.

It’s definitely an interesting song. I’d say that it’s worth being a hit, and I can definitely see the mass appeal in it. Personally, I like parts of the song (the chorus, especially) and could do without parts of it (some of the build-up with the rapper and that extremely electronic sound in parts). Overall, I’d say that if this was in ESC I’d give it a 6 or 7 out of 12. Not bad.
I adore Severina though. Great presence. Great personality. I can’t decide what I think about her green dress though. I’m leaning towards a dislike of it.

I’m not a big fan of Ana’s Dora 2009 song, to tell the truth. I can tell that she’s grown a lot as an artist in the three years since that performance though. That’s good for her!
Oh, I had a feeling that it was related to her pregnancy (I remember the reporting on it). However, I thought the color just didn’t flatter her.
As for Serena Williams, I’ve never really followed tennis. I’ve never really followed any sport, to tell the truth. However, I have had the opportunity to watch some of her press events and other appearances, and I do adore her. She’s got something about her that does make me want to support her.
Dora was one of the best Eurovision national finals in the late 90′s. It was a really great and big full-evening show with many good songs. Unfortunately, I think they lost it when they dropped the orchestra and the voting system, calling about 20 different from 20 different Croatian towns. We do only see such similiar voting things in Festival da Canção nowadays.
