Condolences -Yesterday, one of the most productive and successful Swedish songwriters, Marcus Englöf, died at only 34 years. The cause of death is not known yet. The early death of the artist has left many Eurovision stars in shock as Englöf wrote several Eurovision entries, such as Azerbaijan’s “Alyways” in 2009 and Greece’s “Yassou Maria” in 2007. He also worked with Greek divas Anna Vissi and especially with 2005 Eurovision winner Helena Paparizou for whom he wrote the songs “Mambo”, “Gigolo” and “Game of Love”.
The two have expressed their shock and condolences via facebook. Anna Vissi wrote: “Thanks to Marcus, I had some great successes and I am so sorry that he left so soon, at such a young age.” Helena Paprizou added: ” I am shocked, I lost a good friend and partner. Marcus marked my life with his talent in songs like “Mambo”, “Gigolo”, “Game of Love”. Me and the entire music industry of Sweden mourn this loss and I am sending my sincere condolences to his family. I will miss him!”

I really like his song he made to Helena Paparizou, very good songs. Especially “Mambo”.
Rest in peace.
Overdose?
It’s most likely to be a heart attack but how Marcus died has yet to be confirmed though.
