Norway – As every year, Norway is one of the first countries to disclose details about their national selection only weeks after the last Eurovision Song Contest has taken place. After Tooji’s last place in Baku, the three-time winner Norway will try to bounce back at the competition to be held in Sweden next year. The Norwegian selection will once again be the “Melodi Grand Prix” format, which will probably not see a lot of changes. The national final will have several heats again. Steinkjer in Nord-Trøndelag will play host to the first semi-final of Melodi Grand Prix 2013 on January 19, 2013.
The campus venue in Seinkjer which can hold almost 3000 people will host the biggest event in the city’s history.

Norway, lose the pre-recorded backing vocals and choose someone because of his/her/their good live singing abilities and not based solely on looks.
P.S.: I hope that Helene Bøksle tries again.
Two extremely bad years for Norway after a set of good entries… what’s to come next?
Maybe they’ll actually pick one of the good songs in their national selection next year?
