OMG I can’t wait! I really want to go to Stockholm and watch ESC next year (I live in Sweden)! :D

    • Sabina Babayeva for Stockholm says:

Is there ant chance ES will be in Malmo, if yes, then I’m coming almost 100%! :)

      • Roselildk says:

Then i Will join you Marko, I have been in Malmö last month..one of my best friend lives there :)

        • Sabina Babayeva for Stockholm says:

Hahahaha I have just asked you that! :D

YAY maybe we can meet there! I will go there almost 100%, there are cheap flights with WIZZ air! :D

          • Sabina Babayeva for Stockholm says:

Since this year there are also cheap flights Belgrade – Stockholm, maybe i will go there as well, but it will be more complicated…

          • Roselildk says:

You Will fly to Malmö??? You can come to Copenhagen I guess the flights are to CPH

            • Roselildk says:

Are cheaper*… Oh I hate this iPad, i should have brought my laptop

              • Dino Mil says:

Roselil. I can come to Copenhagen with a cheap flight from London. We can use Copenhagen as meeting point and then use the bridge to go to Malmo :)

                • Sabina Babayeva for Stockholm says:

OMG if you come to ESC I definitely change plans! :P LOOOOOL :D

Anyway I’m sure ESC won’t be in Malmo, last ESC in Sweden was in Malmo, it will be in Stockholm now! :(

                  • Dino Mil says:

                    Marko

Last ESC was in Stockholm; 2000! At the Globen arena!

                    • Sabina Babayeva for Stockholm says:

Yes, I mixed up smth! I hope now will be in Malmo! You seriously plan to go or…? :P :D

                    • Dino Mil says:

Well I was thinking of it (since I knew Sweden will lift the trophy) because:

Using London I can travel cheaply…

                      - to Stockholm by Norwegian
                      - to Gothenburg by Norwegian
                      - to Copenhagen (in case contest takes place in Malmo) by easyjet, ryanair and Norwegian.

I have 5 options all of them cheap. Also if contest takes place in Sotckholm I will have an archaeological interest. The National Museum of Sweden hold a specific gallery with Cypriot antiquities :) It was shame that they did not show anything in their introducing card-postals back in 2000. Also the University of Gothenburg has been conducting exacavations the last years in my home town Larnaka (ancient Bronze city of Kition). So many coincidents, along the douze points to Ivi :p

                • Roselildk says:

Dino if it Will be held in Malmö, why not!!! It Will be funny to meet ET members in Copenhagen…Hey Marko dont change your mind :)

            • Sabina Babayeva for Stockholm says:

No, Roselil, our company JAT has Belgrade – Copenhagen and it’s more expensive! We have been to Malmo last year in March and there are very cheap flights Belgrade – Malmo with Wizz air! My aunt used always Copenhagen / Belgrade earlier since they didn’t introduce Wizz air in Belgrade.

              • Roselildk says:

I see, that is Nice for you… Malmö will be the Best and cheapiest for me…only 30 mins with train from Cph

                • Sabina Babayeva for Stockholm says:

Wizz air introduced direct flights: Belgrade – Malmo, Belgrade – Stockholm, and Belgrade – Gotheborg, because there are a lot of our ppl there..I dunno why but Serbs live more in Sweden than in Denmark, in Denmark live more Bosniaks than Serbs!

Yes, we were riding with that train from Malmo to CPH! :D

My parents were in Malmo 30 years ago, and then train didn’t exist, they were going by boat from malmo to CPH! :D But it was also nice, boat rides are great, especially in the summer when weather is nice..

                  • Roselildk says:

Interesting,I just know one Serbian and one Bosnian living in my City, Odense… About Malmö its very interesting and multi ethnic city I love to visit this city! One Can wonder if Malmö is in Sweden LOL
i loved the ferry trip aswell when we had it between Fyn and Sjælland, now its ok with the tunnel +bridge.. we save Lots of time

      • Patrick P. says:

I may try to attend next year, as well. I really wanted to go to 2011, but I had to go to the hospital the night before the tickets came out. I didn’t want to go this year, but I’m going to be heading to Europe next summer anyway. I might as well try to leave early, see more, and attend ESC, if I can raise the funds.

        • Sabina Babayeva for Stockholm says:

OOO Patrick, you planned to visit Balkans as well, maybe we can go together to Sweden! :D

          • Patrick P. says:

Maybe, but I have a feeling that Sweden would be my first stop (we could meet there). There’s also a chance that ESC is happening too early next year for me. I need to find out when the courses I’d be taking in Vienna are going to start. If it’s not until July, there’s no way I can spend a month-and-a-half in Europe. I wouldn’t have the money. xD

As of right now, I have to start saving. I already have $4000, but that’s barely going to get me everywhere I need to go. So many factors to take into consideration. Why do intercontinental trips have to be so difficult, even when I begin planning them a year in advance?

    • phil says:

It seems its not gonna be Stockholm…

  2. Anonymous says:

but Spain,uk and Italy has problem….for to go in Stockholm.

  3. Dino Mil says:

CyBC (Cyprus) is experiencing many financial problems. For example hey did not send a commedator to Baku. In fact the commentary (for SF and F) was done from CyBC’s studios in Cyprus. This is a bad sign I guess. I hope the fact we were in the final, the publicity the song got during this period and the best result we recieved (but still was not what we expected) in years might prevent CyBC from withdrawing.

  4. Dimitry Latvia USA says:

    And Armenia?

  5. guitaristbl says:

I am glad especially for Switzerland and I expected Spain after the success !

Off topic : the british moaning is on and raging and has become even more hilarious. I was reading an argument and somewhere was posted that Serbia gave 10p to Sweden as an example of how not everyone is as political as the UK wants to present it..The genious british answer was :

“Hmm – Serbia & Sweden – there’s a huge Nordic Business Alliance in Serbia, but I guess that’s not at all political, eh?”

    Really..No comment…

  6. Roselildk says:

I guess we Will have full house next year:)

  7. Kate in Melbourne, Australia says:

Hi everyone! Does anyone know when tickets will go on sale for ESC 2013? I love all things Swedish and Eurovision, so I’m desperate to go next year!

  8. Sarah says:

Really want to go see it live!!! Die hard fan!!!!!!

  9. Sir Shakespeare says:

There’s right now a battle between the Big 3 of the Swedish cities; Stockholm, Gothenburg and Malmö. Which one will host next year? One thing is sure, the grand final won’t be held in Globen, since that arena is already booked for the World Championship in ice hockey next year. There’s some talk about using the new built Friends Arena, the national football arena, which can take about 60 000 people. The only problem is that it’s not really located in Stockholm, but in Solna. As a Swede living at the west coast, I wish that it will be held in Gothenburg, of course, even though I doubt it.

Btw, the City Council of Skövde wants to award their ESC winning song writer Thomas G’son with a medallion. Euphoric times, indeed.

  10. Steve gray says:

So happy Ireland have confirmed Uk should not pull out there song this year i am sorry was awful but could they can win again they should not just give up.

  11. KiWi says:

I’m glad The Netherlands will be competing again next year. I really hope that they pick the right song this time. Joan and her song was great but she looked super nervous on stage during the semi-finals that’s probably why she didn’t get enough votes. We need someone who’s more experienced performing on a big crowd.

Holland has many talented singers afterall. They invented The Voice as well and I saw some of the clips on YouTube.
