Iceland , Sweden , Spain , Cyprus and France are in both the OGAE clubs’ and China’s top 10.
Greece seems to be liked a lot among Chinese ( 3rd ! ) same as Romania ( 5th ) , Latvia ( 9th ) , Moldova ( 10th ) and Ireland ( 11th ) !
On the other hand Serbia , Italy and Germany seem not to be liked at the same extent…
Another fact worth noting is that with 29 OGAE votes, there are still 10 entries yet to be voted. In China with 14 votes cast, we only leave 7 entries without vote, which indicates a diversity of tastes among us Chinese fans.
Yes , but the fact that Albania hasn’t scored yet , is a pity
I just noticed that you haven’t voted for Norway at all !!!
I agree on Albania. Don’t they know pain and suffering in China?
Many say they think Albanian singer is crying rather than singing.
We ourselves are so surprised that Norway hasn’t got a single point, but some explain that STAY just makes them remind of the 2011 Swedish entry POPULAR.
Norway is total cr*p this year and thus you are right to ignore ‘Stay’. Albania on the other hand is a piece of art imo and thus probably a bit too much for ESC fans searching for light entertainment. ‘Suus’ is about pain and suffering and thus it is only natural that Rona comes close to crying. In a way the Albanian song has an intensity we normally only get in opera … imho of course.
Btw, where do you live in China. I have only been to Xiamen. Loved it!
I’m from Qingdao, China, but currently working in La Paz, Bolivia. This is not completely a blog of mine, it’s a website of all the Chinese Eurofans. I’m just serving as an administrator.
Hello China!
Hi, Welcome to visit our blog! Greetings from China!
I have already checked it … but I didn’t like the ranking there. Albania has the best song this year … at least imho.
