OGAE – Members of the Eurovision fan club, OGAE, have all voted in this year’s annual vote, and the results are continuing to be received. Here’s the lastest update which show continued support for Sweden’s Loreen, but Italy has crept up to second place to overtake Iceland in third place. Nineteen of the fan clubs have now released their scores, and twelve countries still have the infamous nil points.
Ireland is the latest club to vote, giving their 12 points to Loreen from Sweden. Only Slovenia and the Rest of the Wold have not given Sweden their 12 points so far in the OGAE voting.
The current scores after 19 results are:
34 United Kingdom
11 FYR Macedonia
05 Bosnia & Herzegovina
03 San Marino
nil point – Austria, Belarus, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Georgia, Lithuania, Malta, Moldova, Montenegro, Portugal, Ukraine.
Committed Eurovision fans often vote very differently to the public voters and juries on the night. Last year saw OGAE give their top placing to Hungary. This year’s vote so far looks more in step with other current polls and betting odds. Is Loreen an absolute certainty to win this year?
