Eurovision 2012: Official Eurovision Website Attacked

Eurovision 2012 – It has been confirmed by officials that hackers had tried to access the official Eurovision.tv website yesterday. The site was down for some time, but reports confirmed that it was impossible to enter the site. Another attack also took place on another website of the Eurovision Song Contest “esckaz.com”. It is not known yet who was responsible for the attacks.

Communications Coordinator for the Eurovision Song Contest, Jarmo Siim, confirmed that the Eurovision Song Contest’s official website “eurovision.tv” website was hit by a cyber attack. Speaking to News.az he said,

“We are experiencing an interruption on our servers, due to a deliberate attempt to bring down the website. Our web team is taking the appropriate measures to reduce the impact and prevent this from happening in the future.”
