Baku – Hotels were finally released to general fans of Eurovision earlier today at http://www.hotelsonline.az/. The official site went live, with no warning, and showed hardly any availablilty. A very small amount of hotels are now also available on normal hotel booking sites. 200 apartments have also been provided for fans here but it is unclear if these are just for OGAE members or for general travellers.

Wow they really dont want foreigners to visit do they? Leaving it so late to release accommodation is bad news.
The city of Baku is very diversity-friendly. Now, it can be a bit problematic if you leave the urban area and go to more traditional regions in a country side, but Baku is fine, so are the city people…just like anywhere else in the World. There is an apartment for rent in the area of Academy of Science. Newly renovated. If interested shoot me an e-mail at ana.selimov@gmail.com Adios!
