Israel: Izabo Song Revealed

Posted: February 20, 2012 by Sekhmet Morgan in Eurovision Song Contest 2012, Israel

Israel – Izabo’s eurovision entry for 2012 “Time” has been officially released on the site Mako. The song is an uptempo alternative disco-electro song that will most certainly be quite different from most songs in the competition. Israel was drawn in the second half of the first semi-final, to take place in Baku on Tuesday 22nd of May. You can here the song here.

So tell us, what do you think of this entry?

Also for Slovakia who will go to Baku? :)

I’d like Martina Schindlerova from their NF 2009 and 2010!

Extremely eastern and tacky does not deserve to qualify just a load of shit like moldova’s entry last year, Isreal are on a downhill slope its sad last year they failed to qualify, they didnt have much sucess in 2009 coming 16th and 2010 they only came 14th. The only decent entry from isreal recently is 2008. Hopefuly it wont qualify it is in the hardest semi for it to qualify as their are few of isreals friends in semi 1, but then there is russia, azerbiajan and moldova where they are likely to score well with.

Latest news about Greek Final: The Greek saga for national final 2012 continues and new line up rumored today in the media making the entire project even more hilarious. Let’s see the unconfirmed information in the most messy selection year for Greece, so far:

The Greek national final is now moved between 12 to 15 of March while the songs will be aired by video on ERT between 5-10 of March. There is an idea to hold the show at River West Mall in Aigaleo area in Athens.

Four names seems to finalize the line up: Eleftheria Eleftheriou (you know the one that blames everyone for her non existing talent besides herself), band Diamond Kiss, band Velvet Fire and a singer named Dora! You are realizing that despite new and fresh blood in the Greek selection, we all know the outcome will be dreadful without having heard the songs yet! SOURCE:oikotimes

I never posted what I thought of Izabo, did I?
It’s really good. I like the opening, and as a demo, it already sounds well-produced and put together. I hope that the final version just improves it more.

They’re currently my third, behind Albania and Iceland (and right in front of Italy if “Per Sempre”).
