Lithuania – 3 more acts qualified last night for the Lithuanian final. The third semi-final saw Monika, Bekeso Vilkai and Vig Roses beat off competition from the other 6 acts. Monika did a Bucks Fizz, having her long dress ton up to reveal a short one. The final semi-final will be held next Saturday, and the national final is on 3rd March 2012.

I really like ‘Happy’. It’s just happy and unpretentious. Monika is fresh, classy and talented and she deserves to represent her country. The live rendition is very good and the stage presentation is ESC-friendly. However, she has to face stiff competition and that is a good sign for Lithuania. This NF is way above average ans so are the love performances.
I really don’t see any difference between “happy’ song and many other MF songs…only that it belong to quite bad category of MF songs, it’s really worn out and cliche, I really dislike it! Beissoul is not GREAT for me as well, but by far better than boring, typical and “wannabe” europop Monika – “Happy”! Other 2 are horrible as well!
The best in this NF was Liepa – “Viena” but didn’t pass! last weak Sati was great and also didn’t pass, i dislike results in this year Lithuanian NF!And what a stupid thing is jury giving points to songs before performance4s and publishing them few days before semifinal, that must change next year, it’s ridiculous! :/
I hope Simona who will take part in the 4th and the last semi with song “One of a kind” will win whole thing! If will be good live, otherwise Beissoul is the only one whop can get more than 3/10 from me!
Marko, ‘One of a kind’ is the annoyingly MF-sounding number. ‘Happy’ is what MF should be striving for; it’s not the best song in the world, I give you that, but it is performed by a genuine singer who clearly knows what she has to do to win. So does Loreen.
Well for me Loreen’s song is not the best in MF! I like it, but it’s my number 5 in Globen atm..that measn second to last! Simona won’t be 10/10 for me as well!
I’m looking forward to Lisa Miskovsky, Danny Saucedo and Charlotte Perreli more! I hope one of them, “Mirakel” or David Lindgren with the best choreography in ESC (if goes to Baku) EVER wins! I hated “Popular” choreography, it’s cheap and bad, made only for ESC, beside ESC would be sooo crappy, I love David Lindgren’s choreography and Danny’s last year was good (choreography)!
Monika’s ‘Happy’ is harmless, but I can’t say I’d be excited about her winning. I much prefer both of the other qualifiers from this semi: Bekeso Vilkai and Vig Roses (I really like Vig Roses. I don’t know if I like them more than Beissoul, but they’d be my second so far).
Yes, Patrick, Vig Roses sound very good live. I am impressed. I would not mind voting for them.
