Great show, good dynamics, great dresses worn by the host, some great live performances and, finally, fantastic results. This is how the votes should work; they went for the best live performances. I am very sorry for Sounclear (I love their song in the studio version), whose live rendition was positively bad. They thouroughly deserved to be eliminated. These five acts offered the best acts: song+live rendition. Very well done, Estonians. I like these 5 performances very much, but I have to say Loss Paranoias are in a class of their own, imo. Congratulations to the finalists.
After watching the videos on Youtube, my rankings changed slightly. I found that I enjoyed Erasmus’ song more and Soundclear’s song less. As such, Erasmus has become my 5th rank, and to make the results perfect for me, he should have qualified over POP Maniacs. That being said, the results are as perfect as I have the right to ask for.
Loss Paranoias were by far the best performer/song combination of the night, and I’m glad to see them in the final. Liis Lemsalu had a great performance of a good song, while August Hunt have the charisma to pull off a somewhat weaker song. Ott Lepland had something completely different than all the other acts that night, and he performed it well. I hope he doesn’t win the whole thing, but he definitely deserved the finals.

My favorites were Soundclear, Liis Lemsalu, Erasmus Rotterdamist, Loss Paranoias & August Hunt in that order… I’m glad three of them made it, but Pop Maniacs and Ott Lepland are hugely overrated and should not have beaten Erasmus out of the final (as they were in the juries’ top 5)… And Soundclear were always gonna be doomed… But still, this was my favorite NF to watch so far, and oh my god, songs 1, 2, 3 & 4 in semi 2 are maybe the four best songs in all this season put together!
My nick says everything!
not on the first semi :p
Well true!
But you already elaborated in a a good way! I agree wit you and Shevek that the best performances and live singings went through, but I Like “Kuula” it will be very nice entry for me as well!
