Belarus – After a glitzy show which paraded many ex-Eurovision stars, Belarus decided to send Alyona Lanskaya as its representative to Baku for Eurovision 2012. At the moment the song is “All My Life” but this could be subject to change. Alyona Lanskaya previously won many awards including Vitebsk-2011 last year.
There were big performances in the studio before the results were announced from famous Eurovision stars including Ruslana, Sakis Rouvas, Alexander Rybak, Ell/Nikki and Philip Kirkorov.
The results of tonight’s final were decided by a 50-50 split by jury and public televoting and were as follows.
1st. Alyona Lanskaya – “All my life“
2nd. Litesound – “We are the heroes“
3rd. Gunesh – “Tell me why“
4th. Victoria Aleshko – “Dream“
5th. Uzari – “The Winner“

Such a shame that Litesound didn’t win.
Alyona has great vocals, but the song is very boring and it will fail for sure in Baku, imo.
Btw, did Litesound at least win the televoting ?
I’m very sad for Belarus, because they try to choose a good song but they simply can’t!
She sings well (horrible english) but the song is not original.
Juries may help her, televote won’t.
OK song, ok voice, horrific English. Why not try a duet with Sinplus? Gosh! We really need the language rule back unless we want ESC to become a total laughing-stock.This is pure torture for anyone remotely familiar with the sound of English. 5/12
Shame on you, Belarus. It’s not a good idea to go picking the worst song in your selction. Here are my rankings of the final performances:
1. Victoria Aleshko – “Dream” 12/12 (This song was simply fantastic. I adored it in every way.)
)
2. Litesound – “We are the Heroes” 7/12 (Good rock song, and I liked it, but it never really hit off for me.)
3. Gunesh – “Tell Me Why?” 6/12 (I like her new song so much more than the boring “Morning Will Come”, but she still needs to work on her skills as an artist.)
4. Uzari – “Winner” 6/12 (Average)
5. Alyona Lanskaya – “All My Life 4/12 (Boring, overdone ballad sung by a woman with a heavy accent and only a decent voice. Just my idea of a perfect song!
*selection
SHAME! Boring song, horrible english etc
Litesound was better than.
I Like Lightsound this song is Boring no final for Belarus
ESC 2012 isn’t really good so far….Belarus is just being Belarus, they never send good songs, I think they just hate the idea of being in the final. I can’t understand them, they always send crappy songs.
Pff. Until now, the biggest favourite is Cyprus…which I don’t like at all. I mean, France/Denmark are modern too and they are by faaar better than that Cyprus girl …. pff.
Shutup
why?
Just because I don’t like those songs and you do doesn’t mean I can’t express my opinon.
Litesound doomed to be runner-ups and I blame the jury for that, it’s so obvious the televote went for Litesound… Now the winner tries to imitate Ukraine 2011 which managed to get a top 5 result! So let’s see if she can pull it on the big stage. It’s not a bad song, it’s actually a nice power ballad, it just doesn’t do it for me. But I don’t hate it as I usually do with Belarus songs. Still, Litesound was robbed.
It is deffinetely not a bad song.Alena is very beautiful and the stage presentation was ok ! Big problems there : The accent and partly off tune singing especially during the verses.Still more than decent ! 6.5/12 and 5th place on my current list !

10)Malta – Kurt Calleja – This is the night : 3/12.
My English is not good but I can understand when English is really horrible, and this one isn’t that BAD! Generally it was the best in this NF, but it’s not AMAZING, i think she can sing very good live…I love hair, dress and performance, thus I’m not disappointed…and it’s a big improvement from the last year Belarus! i rank it as 8/10 for now and put it in my second place after Soluna Samay from Denamrk!
I didn’t watch San Remo, because I was busy this evening!
I watch it every year!
It would be AMAZING if winner or somebody else established group will be Italian representative in Baku, but that won’t happen!
I saw the list of participants and it’s AWESOME! Please Rai send from established group if anybody wants!!!

I’m watching Emma Marrone now in San Remo, she has AMAZING song! Outfit is also fantastic, it’s green, Shevek would like it as well!
Well i like the song… I like it very much… My favorite was Victorya Aleshko but i really dont mind this song winning… I actually liked all five of them and thought that this have greatest chanses to pass through final (do average on televote 8-13 place + good with jury – probably 1-5 – depending of other songs) so i think IT CAN QUALIFY. Same thing for Victorya and Gunesh… Litesound would probably had support only from televoters, and Uzari only from jury.
Since all of you giving scores my score of this song 9/10
mh, well, hm, eeh – no….
not for me… not at all…
I mean it’s definitely not my last place (there’s still Hungary with this live-disgrace), but I really can’t decide whether I rank it behind Malta or before… in the end, both of them are equally unoriginal and worn-out…
Alyona Lanskaya has won Eurofest with a nice ballad that suffers from being sung in a strange version of the English language. Her desperate attempts to pronounce the words hurt the natural flow of the melody and it all becomes quite messy. The language rule should never have been abolished. Good luck.
well the group lost, not the best standard of songs and the overall look of the final was very old fashioned and rather 1970s communist like
