Tonight: Malta Decides, Melodifestivalen Starts and More

  Eurovision 2012 – The Republican primaries in the US are under way and what they call a “Super Tuesday” (Many states voting) Eurovision fans call a “Super Saturday”. Today, Malta will choose its representative at the Eurovision Song Contest 2012, Sweden will starts its selection process with the first semi-final of Melodifestivalen 2o12 and Hungary will hold the second semi-final of their selection “A Dal”.

 

Malta:

Yesterday 16 acts qualified for the Grand Final. Here are the lucky qualifiers:

03. – Dorothy Bezzina – Autobiography
04. – Gianni Zammit – Petals on a rose
05. – Claudia Faniello – Pure

09. – Richard Edwards – Look at me now
10. – Kaya – First time
11. – Amber – Answer with your eyes
12. – Wayne Micallef – Time
13. – Kurt Calleja – This is the night
14. – J. Anvil – You are my life
15. – Klinsmann Coleiro – No way back
16. – Francesca Borg – Take me far

The winner and thus Maltese representative in Baku will be determined by 2/3 jury and 1/3 televoting. The show will start at 20:45 CET. A webstream is available here.

The first semi-final of the most popular Swedish Tv-Show will be held tonight. Here are the 8 participants:
