Norway – Tonight the last of three semi-finals of the Norwegian national selection for the Eurovision Song Contest 2012 will be held in Florø. Eight acts will compete for three places in the national final to be held on February 11 in Oslo Spektrum. The qualifiers will be decided by 100% televoting.

“Euphoria”, “Sammen” and “Si” to the final. I don’t have much hope though because the Norwegians have never supported my favourites in the past.
Maybe “Sammen” will qualify because it’s about Utoya tragedy, it’s still fresh for Norwegians and also in MGP many young ppl vote for teenage entries, Laila told me that, you see for Malin?
She also told me that ‘Sailors” will pass because is the most known name in this semi, the same goes for Petter Øien feat. American singer..we will see..Good night!

To be honest I think this semi-final is a bit redundant because I think the winner comes from the first or the second semi-final. But of course I can be wrong. Unfortunately I have no crystal ball
. I my opinion this semi-final is the most difficult to predict in terms of results because there is not really a song that stands out. And that of course makes the announcement of the results is all the more exciting.
I hope for the following results tonight:
To the final (in no particular order):
- Bobby Bare & Petter Øien – Things change (Very good song! I like some good country music!)
- Marthe Valle – Si (A very beautiful song!)
- The Canoes – Seemed like a good idea at the time (Just a fun song, nothing more nothing less.)
Eliminated:
- Håvard Lothe Band – The greatest day (Certainly not a bad song but just not strong enough.)
- Lise Karlsnes – Sailors (Certainly not a bad song but just not strong enough.)
- Silya Nymoen – Euphoria (I don’t like such kind of songs. The song “Shapeshifter” that she made for Rikke Normann was much better and stronger!)
- Tooji – Stay (No, I’ve tried but I just can’t like it. I think this is just a bad copy of “Popular” by Eric Saade, which I didn’t like to much either. What bothers me most about this kind of songs are that they have such terrible and cheap arrangements and beats.)
- Yaseen & Julie Maria – Sammen (Sorry, but this is just horrible and annoying! I don’t like rap at all! And I know that this “song” is about the drama in Utoya, but with all due respect: in my opinion this kind of songs don’t belong in Eurovision.)
Now for the wildcard I would like to see Lise Stokke with “With love” or Rikke Normann with “Shapeshifter”. Both very good songs and certainly worth a place in the final.

You don’t have to worry! This is just my opinion and you don’t have to agree with me. Tastes differ. It’s that I just don’t like rap. It’s a genre that doesn’t appeal to me at all. So please, don’t be mad at me!

What an obvious copy of Eric Saade – “Popular” lol
“Si” is really magical and nice..dress is a bit strange,,and pics in background give me pathetic feel and atmosphere and cheezy!
Petter Øien – “Things Change” is really boring song and performance, I only appreciate good vocals… 5/10
Yaseen & Julie Maria – “Sammen”is by far THE BEST for me in this year Norska MGP! Performance is AMAZING, outfits are GREAT, too many ppl on the stage ( I lovwe that) but they won’t allow it in ESC! In Baku this will be major spectacle for me…10/10..THE BEST! ;-** They showed that teens can rap very well..
Very cheap performance of Euphoria, almost naked on the stage! To many fire, I dislike it!
Vocals are also weaker than i expected..
Dance routine is ugly..
The Canoes – “Seemed Like A Good Idea At The Time” very interesting for me..and vocals were good…too bad they had technical problems..in the end it becomes a bit boring!

I caught both “Sammen” and “Euphoria” live though. The 1st one was great and Silya had good vocals too. I didn’t like those bathing suits with boots and hat. She looked like a … well … Marko! There is a children’s choir singing in Maltese atm.

I saw songs from Norway and Afro-dite’s performance, Afro-dite had similar outfit to No Angels in Belgrade..
I dislike Lise’s clothes, but everything else I love, her make up is great, dancing shadows and of course the SONG! I hope she goes to final!
While it was the best semi by far, the results were close to insulting, with Eric Saade wannabe and the lamest country poprock winning… if it’s between Nora, Plumbo and the country duo, I’d say go for Plumbo… but my favorite in the final is “Sammen” which is also my favorite song in this year NMGP 2012… it was close with “Euphoria” which was vocally great for such a hard song to sing live, but the performance was very trashy and didn’t bring much to the song, it was kind acool the first minute, the dance routine was fun, but then repetitive; still she got a lot of cheers in the audience and I hoped she’d get more votes than a hot guy, but too much girls vote in these things…
