Kaliopi for Macedonia  Macedonia – Kaliopi will represent the FYR Macedonia at the Eurovision Song Contest this year with the song “Crno i Belo” The music is a composition by Romeo Gril, who wrote Kaliopi’s hits such as “Bato” and “Kofer ljubavi.” In an interview with blic.rs, Kaliopi does not see the big names that will represent the countries of former Yugoslavia as competitors: “I do not feel threatened, I’m not going there to die, but to enjoy the time and to represent my country. Željko, I do not see as a competitor, but as a friend,” the singer said.

Last week, Romeo went to Macedonia to record  the final version of the song with Kaliopi. We added guitars and “trubacis,” a kind of trumpet characteristic of the region, said Kaliopa and now feel more secure and confident. “Crno i Belo” will be presented to the public in mid-February.
