What is the matter with the local jurors and televoters?! Have they lost their mind? Malin to the final with those frightfully bad vocals? Seriously? I am usually a big supporter of Norway in ESC (this country has sent great songs in the past), but I cannot endorse what happened last night. Shame on you! Rikke Normann was simply impeccable. I sincerely hope not to see the same sad results next week. Shape up, Norway!
Well, though I agree with Shevek, Malin was probably one of the worst last night, horrible tacky old ashioned europop with terrible live vocals. But Malin is popular and she was second favorite, finally 3rd and barely through. The other two, Tommy and Plumbo deserved to qualify and two out of three, out of 8 songs is pretty decent result. Also think that Rikke N. was the one to qualify from last night, as she was the best.
So far this has been a terrible semi, as “Si”, “Sammen” and “Euphoria” await in the third semi.
Malin qualified only because of her popularity, her song is too simple and not interesting. Cocktail Slippers and both Rikke Li and Rikke Normann were better than her.
My favorite in the final now is MALIN!
