Turkey – The national broadcaster TRT today announced that Turkish representative, Can Bonomo, will present three different songs to them, and they will make the ultimate decision as to which song will go to Baku. It has not been decided yet in which language Bonomo will sing. The final choice will be revealed by TRT in the last week of February. Bonomo will work on the three songs with producer Can Saban. Bonomo was selected internally by Turkey, and announced last week as their representative for Baku, Azerbaijan. Can Bonomo has been playing the gutar from the age of 8 and is a huge admirer of John Lennon from the Beatles. Apparently his favourite songs in last year’s Eurovision were Jedward’s “Lipstick” (Ireland) and A friend in London’s “New Tomorrow” (Denmark) and he thinks English is the way to go for the language to sing in at Eurovision.
