Moldova: National Final on March 10

Posted: January 3, 2012 by eurovisiontimes in Moldova

Moldova – Today, Moldovan national broadcaster TRM revealed that the national final for the Eurovision Song Contest 2012 will be held on March 10. Moldova will thus choose its entry on the same day as Sweden and Portugal and will thus be one of the last countries choosing their act. Songs may be submitted to TRM until January 16.

A jury of music experts will then choose a certain number of songs to go on to the second phase of the selection, where the songs will be performed for the judges. 20 finalists will be chosen by the jury while 3 more will be added by the public through an internet voting. Thus 23 artists will battle for the honor of representing Moldova in Baku.

Yaaaay! I hope Doinita Gherman comes back…not even for her to win, but just to see what she comes up with!

  2. Something like “Let’s jazz” would do it for me… Moldova’s a nice little esc country, but I admit I really hated their entry in 2006 and disliked a lot Natalia’s song in 2007 though I like her as a performer… the 2005, 2008, 2010 and 2011 entries are decent but not that great either and fail to make it in my top 10… 2009 is the one entry I like most and I hope for another great entry from Moldova but admittedly, it’s a country I enjoy in eurovision

I want like Millenium – “In memoriam” from last year!!

That would be the best option for me!
