Belarus – She represented Belarus in this year’s Eurovision Song Contest in Düsseldorf and only marginally failed to qualify to the final with her patriotic “I Love Belarus”: Anastasiya Vinnikova seeks to return to the Eurovision stage next year as she has been revealed to be one of the artists which have submitted an entry for the Belarussian national final Eurofest. “Shining In Twilight”, the song Vinnikova will be competing with was composed by Leonid Shirin and Yuri Vaschuk, who were also behind the song “Far Away” which was originally supposed to be performed by the group 3+2 in 2010.
Further known submissions are from Aura, Gunesh, Litesound, Lena Voloshina, Vera Karetnikova, the group Tyani-Tolkay and Nina Bogdanova. The semi-final of the selection will take place on December 21. The national final is set for the end of January.

annoying!
Please learn how to pronounce English and how to sing live before doing ESC again, dear.
If that happens I stop watching ESC, I mean if she goes to Baku, I couldn’t stand when winner – Lena returned only after a year, and somebody who failed to qualify to return next year!! That’s unacceptable!! STOP with that! Please EBU forbid return next year to the festival! Because festival loses reputation! It’s really horrible! :@
I liked the “I Am Belorussian” version better than the “I Love Belarus” song…. It was so politically loaded that it would’ve made the funniest performance of the year!!
