Norway – The Norwegian national broadcaster NRK has revealed two more artists that will compete in the 2012 edition of Melodi Grand Prix. Rudi Myntevik used to release Christian music such as his album “Gud din skjønnhet” but since he moved to London in 2008 he has focused on a more pop-style of music. His entry is said to be in keeping with this new direction in his career.

Reidun Sæther is a popular musical singer (currently starring in We Will Rock You) and has been praised for her unusual vocal abilities by Per Sudnes. Her song is an anthem for woman’s empowerment. “I have been a Eurovision fan for as long as I remember and Sandra Kim was my big hero”.  Thomas G:son (A Moment Like This, Denmark 2010) and Ovi (Playing With Fire, Romania 2010) joined forces for her song.

Here are two of their songs:

  1. MGP is doing a good job at releasing one or two names regularly to keep us waiting.. .some names are interesting, many are typical schlager divas, we shall see once we hear all names and definitely the songs

  2. I really love Reidun Sæther’s voice. While I’m hesitant because it’s a G:son song, I do want to hear what she brings.

  3. Marko says:

I love this one and Nora Foss Al-Jabri the most till now!
