FYR Macedonia – After over 4 hours of national final, Macedonia has taken its decision about whom to send to Düsseldorf. Vlatko Illievski was the favourite of both the jury and the televoters. He will represent Macedonia in Germany with his song “Rusinka”. A total of 20 artists had competed for the honour of representing the Balkan country. Vlatko Ilievski, born in 1985, is a Macedonian rock singer. He was the runner-up to be the Macedonian entry for the 2010 Eurovision Song Contest. He previously appeared at Eurovision in 2005 as backing vocals for Martin Vučić.He was previously a member of rock band Morality. He was a student of acting at the Faculty of Dramatic Arts, Skopje, where he graduated in 2010 with the drama “Anger”.

How would you rate the Macedonian entry by Vlatko Illievski (5 being best):
it’s ok ish, but macedonia always chears people said he’d win for months just like so many years before… but it was only an ok final and this was indeed among the better ones, but i doubt macedonia is any contender for esc 2011 now
This is not a very good choice for Macedonia imo. Although their NF was poor overall there were some songs better and more worthy then this one. I don’t think they will qualify in the final with this song.

I’m happy that Inception which was my fav movie this year took 4 oscars
And The King’s Speech was kinda fav for both best picture and best director (i haven’t seen it yet)
It wasn’t worth watching it. Over the years there are worse and worse songs. I hope that the next year we won’t participate. It is just wasting money for nothing. Plus everyone is addressing us with the boring FYR. It is too much for the Macedonians. So, the politics will be on this ESC too. So gear up, cheer for your neighbor and hope that your neighbor is going to be the winner.
Just horrible. God… The song might be ok, but that voice… I guess it’s supposed to be raspy-rocky-edgy but for me it’s just bad…
Another male singer sounding like he has a sore throat, nothing different. Could have been any former Yugoslavian song from the 1980′s.This a’int good.
I think this will end up just like Macedonia 2010, it’s just as bad as that one was.
This song has the worst ratings in the poll of any country.. Not one person gave it 5 points yet…
I gave it, just because i feel so sorry for Macedonia this year… I miss good songs from Macedonia… Since 2008, nothing is realy good…
That is because of the lack of inspiration for the authors. Perhaps we should take a break a few years and then make the come back and win

what do they bother sending a song for Eurovision? they keep picking crap entries.
Ok, so this is garbage and really amateurish, totaly in keeping with the tradition of FYRoM in the contest…But I have to say it’s pretty enjoyable garbage, perfect to watch when you’re drunk with your friends watching the final.
