Slovenia – Slovenia has made its choice: Maja Keuc will represent the Ex-Yugolav country in Düsseldorf next May. Ten songs were performed in the popular selection show EMA. A jury of experts then chose Maja Keuc “Vanilija” and April “Ladadidej” for the super final. The Slovenian public thus only had the choice between these two songs. The jury included Darja Svajger, Severina (CRO 2006) and Mojca Mavec. In the end Maja Keuc emerged as the winner of the selection.

omar should have won… i should check ukraine, lithuania, slovenia, austria where they all are, people say not enough ballads, but we have 4 songs that all sound the same or almost, the best being the slovenian one of course
Omar was the best… Arrr. It’s not good to watch national finals.. makes it harder to like the songs that are actually chosen…

It’s my first NF season, although i’ve been watching ESC since 2000. And i like it. In the last years i never knew the songs before the semis or grand final of ESC. Now it’s gonna be different, i can judge the songs better after listening them many times before the final in may.

It’s not offensive, but it does nothing for me. well sung ballad. She sings well, but sings too long.

maja keuc was in slovenia got tallent, and thats why she is even more recognizible among slovenian people (me). i love her.. we got a good chance this year

Ha, this is my third ESC year and the second time I’m also listening to the NF songs and it is not that difficult. Of course it is sooo annoying to have some favourites in the NF(like in Austria) and see the worst song getting the ticket but heeey, life’s not always pink so…
Anyway, Slovenia chose an average song, not my cup of tea, but it sounds good indeed.
I hope that Slovenia wins the title. Anyway I would like to send Maja a letter from Holland. Who can give me her email address ? Thank you in advance.
