Moldova - Tonight a 50/50 combination of televoting and the verdict of an expert jury in Moldova decided that Zdob şi Zdub should represent the Eastern European country in Düsseldorf with their song  “So Lucky”. The Chisinau based band is no newcomer at the Eurovision Song Contest. They were Moldova’s debut entry in 2005 and came 6th with their energetic song “Boonika Bate Toba”. Nineteen artists competed for the Moldovan ticket tonight.

It’s a good song but I had hoped for Natalia. ‘Let’s Jazz’ will probably remain one of my favourite songs of the 2011 season.

  2. Shevek says:

There were much better choices. It’s not too bad though. Congrats.

  3. Roselil says:

I was hoping for Dimitru :( ok.. this is not bad

  4. Razvan says:

Nooo, this is very dissapointing. Moldova had many great songs in their NF and they chose one of the worst :( . I can’t believe it …

    0 points from Romania !

  5. i kinda like it, definitely better than the 2005 song but i wanna see a live before i judge fully

  6. Xello says:

It is OK song, but i agree with all of you that this isnt best choice… Only thing that was funny in their 2005 performance was that old lady(in a good way)…

  7. Loveswissmusic says:

Off topic: 20 second preview of I’m Still Alive by Twiins has been published http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zrwU-qwQtNc

On topic: It’s an ok song, I want to see Grandma Drummer back :)

  9. i don’t like it too much. But its good for musical diversity in ESC…

  10. Alex says:

I want to give it 0 but there is no such option :(

this is the worst Eurovision 2011 entry and one of the worst entries ever. a big kitsch mess.

  11. It still irritates me less than Moldova 2010..
