Turkey - The Turkish national broadcaster TRT has present the song Yüksek Sadakat will sing in Düsseldorf during a news bulletin. The song is called “Live It Up”. The Istanbul based rock band “Yüksek Sadakat” is quite popular in Turkey since 2005. Apparently TRT wants to repeat MaNgas success in Oslo by sending another rock act, the fouth one the past ten years after the 4th place by Athena in 2004, “Deli” finished 7th in 2008 and Manga were Lena’s runner-up last edition. The band for Eurovision 2011 consists of Kenan Vural, Serkan Özgenm, Kutlu Özmakinaci, Uğur Onatkut and Alpay Şalt. Listen to their song for Düsseldorf:

Turkey will compete in the first semi-final of the Eurovision Song Contest on May 10. In our own pre-Eurovision competition “The Eurovision Knockout 2011” Turkey will compete against Ukraine and Belarus.
hey have had better songs in the past and i agree it’s definitely not the best this year but the music is really really good, i just don’t like the lyrics much and he has weak vocals, he sounds off and it’s disrupting : it’s definitely no Manga and won’t bring Turkey higher than “Deli” did but it’s still in the best pack of the year

I think I agree on the vocals part, I wonder what the song would sound like with another singer.

Perhaps I was expecting too much. This sounds like a bland song dressed in rockish attire. It’s miles away from the great Turkey 08. It may grow on me some more. My top 4 remains unchanged.
i myself prefer manga to “deli” and have athena winner too… but all these three are definitely better better better than turkey 2011
