Eurovision weekend – Apart from the presentation of the Italian entry and the Swedish semi-final, we also had qualification rounds in all the Baltic countries and in Croatia last night. Latvia – Yesterday the entries that did not qualify from the two semi-finals of “Eirodziesma 2011″ got another chance to qualify. Two of the ten songs secured a spot in the final on February 26. One was saved by a jury the other one qualified tthrough televoting:

Lithuania – Yesterday Lithuania held its third and last semi-final before the big national final next Saturday. Twelve songs competed for 3 places in the final of “Eurovizijos daina konkursas”. The decision was be taken by a mixture of 50% tele and 50% jury votes. The big favourite Sasha Son did not qualify:

Croatia – And last but not least, Croatia held another round of their casting show “Dora 2011″ to find their entry for the Eurovision Song Contest in Düsseldorf. Four candidates that qualified from previous shows performed two songs and two of them qualified for the semi-final.The decision was be taken by SMS-voting.

Donatas finished 4th in both semi 2 and 3 i hope the juries can give him one of the wildcards for the finale!
I have finally managed to listen to all Lithuanian songs. Here is my evaluation:
This is a very Americanized bunch of songs and thus not a strong line-up imo. I am very happy that zebra’s readers brought my favourite to the final at least. The only 3 songs I can slightly warm up to are:

i think Linas will represent Lithuania again, thank god, he was great in 2004, great in the 2009 NF and great again!!
