Posted: February 8, 2011 by eurovisiontimes in Serbia

Serbia - Kristina Kovač, one of the three composers who will contribute a song to the Serbian selection for the Eurovision Song Contest in Düsseldorf, has told Serbian newspaper novosti, that she has finalized her entry. “All that is left to do is to record the song and submit it to RTS by February 16,” Kristina explained. She goes on saying that the song is joyful and in a retro/pop/soul style (Lena copy?) and that she also wrote the lyrics for it.

She had originally written the song for her own album, but now decided to submit it to the Serbian Eurovision selection. She will soon travel to Zagreb to record the instrumental part of the song with famous Croatian guitar player Ante Galo.

The other two composers, Kristina’s father and her sister are also working on their songs. Kornelije Kovač has revealed that the lyrics for his entry will be written by the very popular rock musician Momčilo Bajagić.

The Serbian national final will be held on February 26. The artist performing the songs have not been disclosed yet.
