22:12: ARMENIA WINS THE JUNIOR EUROVISION SONG CONTEST 2010!
22:11 – Macedonia: Only 1 to Russia…. Can Armenia catch them? 10 or 12 to Armenia and they have won… IT’S ARMENIA. THEY WIN BY 1 POINT ahead of Russia!
22:09 – Georgia’s turn: 12 to Belarus… only 7 to Russia. They shouldn’t have attacked them,,, Anyway Macedonia gets to decide and I think Russia has made it..
22:07 – home votes… Belarus. What will Russia get? 12 of course… They are leading, but Armenia, Georgia and Serbia still have a shot.
22:06 – Malta: 12 to Russia now tied with Armenia…
22:05 – Armenia… will they give some to Russia and Georgia? 8 to Georgia, 10 to Belarus and 12 to Russia.. Armenia leading closely before Georgia..
22:01 – Belgium… Will 12 go to Netherlands? Oh no just 10… 12 go to Armenia (they are leading by 12 points now…) Please not Armenia….
22:00 – Latvia: 12 to Belarus…(cheers of course) It’s between Russia, Serbia, Armenia and Georgia now
21:59 – very (too) warm welcome to Russia… (They get 10 points for that) They give their top marks to Armenia, which is still leading…
21:58 – Armenia gets 12 from Sweden, puts them in the lead
21:56 – Ukraine gives 12 points to Armenia, but Georgia is leading!
21:55 – Serbia: 12 go to Macedonia (another surprise), Georgia in the lead!
21:54 – Netherlands: 12 to Belgium (unpredictable says our host hehe) , Serbia in the lead
21:52 – Moldova: only 5 to Georgia 12 go to Serbia, putting them in the lead
21:51 – Voting starts! First 12 (Lithuania) go to Georgia, 10 to Russia
21:50 – Last appearance for Svante Stockselius in a Eurovision event! He gets a symbolic 12 points for his efforts.
21:43 – Our hostesse changed her dress to blue. Much more soothing for my eyes. And now all winners of the Junior ESC. Very interesting to see how some grew up and how others didn’t. Some of them come from countries that don’t even participate anymore…
21:40 – All participants and Dimitry Koldun sing their UNICEF song. Obviously playback. Second best song of the evening and also out of competition…
21:33 – I think the winner will be between Georgia, Belarus (maybe Sweden, Belgium)
21:26 – Rybak performs! European skies. Unsurprisingly the best song of the evening
In English and Belarussian. I’d vote for that song… but I can’t
21:21 – Recap: Good: Moldova, Serbia, Sweden, Russia (for being bold enough to be jazzy), Belgium, Belarus (he sings with his heart – cheesy I know) , Georgia (against my better judgement this stayed in my ear, will probably win) , Macedonia (best and very catchy song, but she didn’t perform it well at all…)
21:17 – Last song from Macedonia: oh wait… Georgia is still in my ear even tough I hate it… Might just do the trick. I also like Macedonia! And now Europe (or 14 countries) can vote for their favorites. Recap!
21:14 – The favorite is next: Catchy chorus, but she screams way too much into her microphone… and after half a minute you want to switch channels… Spacey outfit though. Could do well, but not for me…
21:10 – Cheers for Belarus in a horrible golden jacket and the beginning of the song was a little to familiar…Overall a good performance, very nice voice… Could do very well!
21:06 – Malta: Six girls on stage all in the same horrible dress… Dull song
21:04 – Reminder that UNICEF is supported tonight. Parts of the televoting revenue will go to the UN organization
21:01 – Armenia: Little casanova
Song is ok and has some folk elements, but a little too much screaming…
20:59 – It’s Belgium’s turn and they seem to want us to get up, not too impressiv, but beautiful girls
20:54 – Latvia: This is the Swedish entry of the evening. Very schlager. Not catchy I think.
20:50 – Russia next: They try with a jazzy song “Boy and girl” obviously with a boy and a girl. Nice try, they should’ve left the chorous in Russian and their clothes in the closet tough!
20:48 – Very beautiful girl, nice dress, but the song just doesn’T do it for me. A little too schlagery dull, not catchy at all… Won’t win I think
20:45 – Eurovision powerhouse Sweden is next. Can they win the Junior version for the first time this year?
20:39 – Ukraine: Good performance, the song is alright. Will not win tough and a little too lila for my taste
20:39- Sorry! I had problems with my connection!
20:37 – Serbia: very sophisticated performance. Could’ve been in real Eurovision! The song is nice enough. I like it!
20:34 – Netherlands won’t win, that’s almost sure. Dutch in the verses, English in the chorous.
20:30 – Moldova: Horrible costume, rather catchy song
20:27 – Lithuania! ” Bartas – Oki Doki” Not too bad I have to say, at least for Junior Eurovision. Stupid lyrics, but a pretty grown-up song and performance
20:26 – Voting has started
20:23 – Our hosts are here. One in horrible pink, one in oldfashioned white and both with nice Russian accents. Numbers are presented.
20:20 – All participants come on stage and the name of the country is announced. Very Olympics. I like it. Accompanied by famous Eurovision songs from that country.
20:18: The show has started!
